Since 2003, we have developed a refined approach to Polynesian tattooing,

Each tattoo is created as a custom piece, by appointment only.

THE STUDIO
People come to Mana’o Tattoo for one essential reason: the desire to make a thoughtful, deliberate, and lasting choice.

Founded in Tahiti by tattoo artist Manu Farrarons, Mana’o Tattoo Studio has been established in Papeete since 2003.
​
Over the years, the studio has developed an approach to Polynesian tattooing that has influenced contemporary expressions seen today, grounded in artistic integrity, a deep understanding of Tatau traditions, the quality of exchange, and the level of care given to each piece.

Mana’o has never been built on volume.
The studio is based on the time devoted to each project, the precision of execution, the transmission of a living culture, and the attention given to the tattoo’s long-term strength.

The artists working here share a common foundation while developing their own sensitivity.
