Copying an existing Polynesian tattoo goes against the essence of Polynesian tattooing.
When approached with respect, each Polynesian tattoo is created as a unique composition, built specifically for one individual. Its symbols, structure, and overall form are designed in relation to the person’s body, identity, and story.
Polynesian tattoos may carry references to lineage, family, or ancestry.
They are not transferable.
For this reason, reproducing an existing Polynesian tattoo is not considered.
At Mana’o Tattoo, every project is developed as a one-of-a-kind creation, conceived to reflect your own path, values, and identity.
Before your appointment, the skin in the area to be tattooed must be healthy and intact.
Sunburned or damaged skin cannot be tattooed.
To ensure optimal conditions, we ask that you arrive rested, nourished, and properly hydrated.
Excessive fatigue, alcohol consumption, or lack of preparation may affect both the execution and the healing of the tattoo.
The process is deliberate and conducted with care.
You are guided throughout the session and supported by experienced hands.
The value of a tattoo reflects the time, discipline, and responsibility required to create a piece meant to endure.
At Mana’o Tattoo, the work goes beyond ink.
It (http://ink.It)is a matter of creation, mastery, and longevity.
Each project is conceived specifically for one individual, designed in relation to the body, its structure, and the passage of time.
The process is precise and controlled, carried out in a professional environment, under strict hygiene standards, and never rushed.
A tattoo is a permanent decision.
Choosing quality from the beginning means never having to question it later.

The surface of a tattoo generally heals within ten days to two weeks.
The skin then continues to regenerate beneath the surface over the following weeks, until the tattoo fully settles.
During this period, protecting the tattoo from sun exposure is essential, as ultraviolet rays can affect both healing and long-term clarity.
Once healed, appropriate sun protection helps preserve the balance, definition, and longevity of the tattoo over time.
